Lydia Kay Griggsby took the oath of office on December 15, 2014, as Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims.

Lydia Kay Griggsby took the oath of office on December 15, 2014, as Judge of the United States Court of Federal Claims. Judge Griggsby was nominated by President Obama on April 10, 2014, confirmed by the Senate on December 4, 2014, and appointed by the President to a 15-year term on December 5, 2014. The oath of office was administered by Chief Judge Patricia Campbell-Smith.

Please save the date for the court's annual Law Day Observance luncheon slated for Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel in Washington, DC. The theme of Law Day 2015 is "Magna Carta: Symbol of Freedom Under Law," and the keynote speaker will be Professor A.E. Dick Howard, White Burkett Miller Professor of Law and Public Affairs at the University of Virginia School of Law.
