Now available: Guidelines for Cases Involving Classified Information

On May 27, 2016 the Advisory Council transmitted to the Chief Judge a recommendation of the Bid Protest/Contracts Committee regarding classified case information, and the Chief Judge charged the Clerk's Office with the task of implementing the committee's guidance.

CM/ECF File Size Limit Increased to 50 MB

Effective immediately, the Court of Federal Claims has increased the file size limit in CM/ECF from 12 MB to 50 MB. That means that for each filing, the main document and each attachment must be no more than 50 MB in size. Change in Clerk's Office Hours of Operation

Effective August 1, 2016, the clerk's office will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on business days.

Death Announcement: Judge George Wesley Miller, Jr., 1941-2016

Judge George Wesley Miller, Jr., of the United States Court of Federal Claims, died Monday, June 27, 2016. Judge Miller was appointed to the United States Court of Federal Claims by President George W. Bush and joined the bench on December 13, 2003. He retired on August 6, 2013.

Judge Miller was born in Schenectady, New York in 1941. He received his A.B. degree from Princeton University in 1963 and his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1966.
