On July 29, 2015, the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for amendments to be made to the Vaccine Injury Table by regulation. Since that time, HHS has been drafting its proposed changes. Dr. Nair will discuss the regulations and share the status of this rulemaking action.

Several new and innovative initiatives are in active development at the court, including revision of the court’s ADR program and support for the Bar Association’s Pro Bono/Attorney Referral pilot program. Along with a discussion of selected best practices from the Office of Special Masters, the Department of Justice, and the private bar, the court will report on these programs and solicit comments from the audience.
