Julia M. Collison

Julia M. Collison is a Trial Attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, working in the Constitutional and Specialized Torts Branch.  She exclusively represents the Secretary of Health and Human Services in petitions filed under the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986.  Prior to beginning her public service career with the Department of Justice in 2018, she was an associate at Hollingsworth LLP, chiefly representing defendants in complex serial and mass tort litigation.  She began her legal career clerking for the Honorable Jessica R. Mayer in New Jersey.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Georgetown University in 2008, and her Juris Doctor degree from Fordham Law School in 2011.  She was admitted to practice in New York in 2012.
