Proposed Revisions to the Guidelines for Practice Under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program

Dear Counsel and Friends of the Office of Special Masters:

The date for the Judicial Conference of the United States Court of Federal Claims is fast approaching. The conference will take place at the National Courts Building, 717 Madison Place, NW, Washington, DC 20005, on Thursday, November 15, 2012.

The afternoon Vaccine Session discussion will be devoted to the OSM’s proposed revisions to the Guidelines for Practice Under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. Accordingly, the proposed revisions are attached for your consideration and comment. The proposed revisions will also be available on the court’s website, http://www.uscfc.uscourts.gov, under the “Vaccine Info” tab.

Any comments or suggested edits to the proposed revisions should be sent directly to the court by e-mail to the Office of Special Masters at OSM_Feedback@ao.uscourts.gov by no later than Tuesday, November 13, 2012. There will be a follow-up discussion at the conference addressing some of the received comments and edits.
