This panel will feature a discussion by Court practitioners regarding best practices in pre-trial case management, to cover topics including preliminary matters such as defective complaints and early status conferences; methods to manage discovery disputes; the effective use of procedural and substantive motions; and, settlement approaches. In order to present the “Bar’s perspective,” representatives of the government and private bars will exchange their thoughts.
