Emerging Issues in Privilege and Trial Preparation in Tax Litigation & the Legislative Agenda

This panel will focus first on the tax agenda on Capitol Hill with a review by the Chief of Staff for the Joint Committee on Taxation, to be followed by a discussion of the complex challenges facing tax litigators and other practitioners who litigate for or against the federal government. Using practical examples from the field of tax litigation, the experienced panel members will address recent developments on issues such as maintaining and defending privilege, e-discovery, expert witnesses and general litigation
preparation strategies.
