There is ONE DAY LEFT to register for the conference and pay online through the Bar Association. After 5:00 EDT on Thursday, October 13, please contact the court directly by clicking here to arrange for late registration.

You may still book rooms at the Claremont at the best available rates, although the reduced-rate room block at the Claremont is now closed. Please contact our meeting coordinator, Denise Strasburg, at (510)549-8502 to secure one of a few Distinctive Double rooms being held for conference guests at $249/night.

* John Echeverria, Acting Director, Environmental Law Center, Vermont Law School
* Steven M. Goldman, Distinguished Lecturer in Law, Columbus School of Law, Catholic University and expert in the fields of ethics and professional responsibility
* Hank Greely, Director of the Center for Law and the Biosciences, Stanford Law School
* Allen Joseph, Shareholder in Rogers Joseph O'Donnell in San Francisco and leader in the field of government contract law

Continuing Legal Education Credits
 
The Court of Federal Claims has applied for advance CLE approval in several states. Up to 14.0 total credit hours and up to 1.8 ethics hours have been approved. To see the status of your state's approval, please click here.
 

Climate and Attire Information
 
The weather in Berkeley in October is usually mild and sunny, with warm afternoons and chilly evenings. The hotel rooms, public spaces, and meeting rooms will be air conditioned, so it is advisable to carry a light sweater to be prepared for changes in temperature. All daytime functions will be business casual.  Attendees may wish to wear business or evening attire for evening activities.
